開催まであと310日に迫った、2025年4月13日より大阪で開催される日本国際博覧会（2025年大阪・関西万博）に向け、〈バーレーンパビリオン〉のデザインが発表されました。世界的な海洋交通の要衝であるバーレーン王国の地理と歴史を参照したパビリオンであり、バーレーンの造船技術と日本の木工芸技術を再解釈したデザインとなっています。 レバノン出身の建築家リナ・ゴットメ（Lina Ghotmeh）による、パリを拠点とするスタジオ リナ・ゴットメ ー アーキテクチャ（Lina Ghotmeh – Architecture）が設計しました。The Bahrain Pavilion design has been unveiled for the Japan International Exposition, which will be held in Osaka from 13 April 2025 (Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai), just 310 days before the event. The pavilion references the geography and history of the Kingdom of Bahrain, a key global maritime transportation hub, and is designed to reinterpret Bahrain’s shipbuilding technology and Japanese wood craftsmanship. It was designed by Paris-based studio Lina Ghotmeh – Architecture, by Lebanese architect Lina Ghotmeh.
